The Mobile Difference

Collecting mobile numbers is much different than collecting email addresses as the mobile carriers such as "Sprint" & "AT&T" have put in specific guidelines in place to prevent people from sending unsolicited text messages. This actually works to your benefit as by having customers "confirm" that they want to receive your text messages, it shows that they are eager to receive them and will be more responsive to each promotion you send them.

When customers "opt-in" to your mobile list, they will receive a "conformation text message". They will then reply to the message that they confirm that they want to be added to your list. Once they confirm, they will be added automatically and you are free to send them text messages with permission!

Mobile marketing is effective as people always have their mobile phone with them at all times. Imagine sending them a text message about a dinner special on Firday at 3:00pm right when they are thinking about what to make that night!
